Three short videos show how costume transforms the role of the wearer; an assemblage using disparate parts of a household door becomes a scene of elephants at a watering hole; abstract reflections in urban shop windows are captured photographically; our image in the mirror causes us to reflect; the beauty of the Wandle reflected in watercolour - these are just a few examples of the fascinating work on show.

Using the Library's three dedicated arts spaces, we have a breadth of work on show here. Bold, imaginative, decorative, arresting, fun, beautiful, in a range of exciting media including painting, installation, textile, sculpture and photography.
We are also presenting Wandle Treasures, a large artwork by Stephanie Theobald, commissioned by The Building Exploratory. The Festival will be the opening leg of its journey along the river Wandle, passing through four boroughs.
